""Through Waters" is the debut EP of the German project Decision at Sundown, solely run by pw. A few might recognise the name since he already did intro and outro ambientscapes for the German Dark Metal band Isolation. After having been recorded back in 2007 already, this marks the first self-contained appearance in music history for DaS. "Through Waters" takes you on an instrumental journey of doom metal heaviness mixed with organic ambient sounds. Wait... doom / ambient projects are quite common nowadays, right? Unfortunately alot of those sound like the band realized while recording that their instruments weren't tuned so they got bored and simply put them down without switching them off nor stopping the recording. But Decision at Sundown is far from that, trust me! These 20 minutes form a wholistic monolith out of its different aspects, which must be experienced. Because of that, chosing a sample was unthankful business and therefore I can only advice you to judge this record as a whole. If you are by any chance into crushing doom riffs and darkest ambient soundtextures get your ticket and enjoy the ride!

"The self-titled debut album by the Italian avantgarde black metal band Kailash first saw the light of day in 2006, on a cdr released by the Italian label Traceroeuno. A year later Paradigms Recordings from England printed a limited run of professional CDs. After listening to this great piece of art, we were happy to join ranks with these labels and do our share of supporting this album by doing the cassette version. Drawing influences from (progressive) rock and metal, black metal of course and even classical music Kailash brew their very own brand of modern extreme metal. Seldomly I have heard blastbeats and harsh vocals melt so perfectly together with jazzy, progressive moments, which even feature the use of a saxophone. Forget all those bands who try to pump every possible element into their metal and end up either like a sampler or a teenager's drug experiment gone wrong. This very band doesn't sound anything like that. While Kailash reminded me instantly of Ved Buens Ende and also of later Ulver or Code, it is a miracle to me, why this release didn't get more of the attention it deserves in my opinion. To everyone who consideres himself a fan of modern black metal with intelligent arrangements and progressive elements, I can only raise my voice to say: "Do not ignore this great album!" - Choirs Of Delusion

the main ill characteristics of previous full-length VVORLDVVITHOUTEND, the extensive song structures operate as hypnotizing

Be it vile, pain-fuelled Black Metal or pensive experimentation with the sounds of the bleating masses, each song is guaranteed to bring a new kind mind-tearing agony to the listener. "Truely one of Norways strongest Black Metal hordes and also one of those bands which has been an influence for several of bands. And for a very good reason. They have always had their own formula of making the Blackest of atmospheres come to life through their music. This album was released on a MCD in 1995 and has been sold out since a very long time. To honour this forgotten album I together with Forgotten Woods did plans for a re-issue which now is at hand. Featured on this album is the three original tracks as well as two previously unheard tracks which are taken from rehearsal tracks that has only been in the hands of the band previous to this. So no matter if you have the original copy of this or not, it's sure a worthy addition. The album comes also with totally reworked layout in a luxurious fold out booklet. Nothing more to add here really, a Black Metal classic that should not be overlooked." - Total Holocaust Records

"After a longer time of creation the swedish duo returns with a complete acoustic album.
12 tracks that witness of great creative force and a wonderful, homogeneous and open-style album of rare beauty.
A journey, an honest confession to nature and at the same time an escape from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life and modernity.
The magic of folk is brought back by isolated and melancholic feelings reminding us our own evocative strength.
Visions of thoughtful solitude evoke the melancholy of a lost time, turn back the wheel to forgotten ages.
Listening to these songs is like seeing through the eyes of a northern-land wanderer: wide landscapes wearing the autumn colors,
snow covered mountains under clear blue sky, endless horizons and feeling the warm hearths of grandfathers families.

"Death rock. Cold-wave. Dark, unsettling new-wave, post-punk, batcave music featuring Andy Julia on vocals."
"Frontman Andy Julia will be familiar to most as the original, and current, drummer of Nuit Noire.
He has also played in Peste Noire, Mütiilation, Celestia and is one half of Darvulia.
Soror Dolorosa however is a complete departure from metal. Cold-wave blue sounds influenced by 80s post-punk and
the variety of -wave splinters that formed in that decade. Bands like Sisters of Mercy, Virgin Prunes,
Specimen (and other Batcave regulars) serve as pointers while building their own approach within a French revival of sorts.
Sombre, passionate music with careful, often sparse, song writing; shimmering guitar notes, strong important bass lines,
drums that pound the bass and crack the snare; and a palpable sense of detachment emphasising the cold in cold-wave." - Todestrieb Records

"Black Legion Metal - Chris Moyen cover art! Seven years after… A new obscurity arises from Lord Belth's Rim's satanic mind. What to expect ? Nothing more than a new manifestation of the Black Legions anti-human spirit, still the same after all these years. After a short horrific and ritualistic intro, you go back in time. In time when Black-Metal was a horrible manifestation of Evil. When Black-Metal wasn't for everyone's ears. When it was hated by most people. Like in 1990. Or better, in 1985. It's no surprise that one of these years' trademark album : BATHORY's The Return, has left its mark on VERMETH's current work. Think of more thrashy, dynamic songs that reek evilness on each note. Open your ears on the opening track or « Malediction » for example ! Or the solo on « Necromancer » that sounds like those on the timeless Under The Sign Of The Black Mark. However, improved compositions and playing – a real drummer is present now, don't make these songs an easy and joyful listening. Nor is this album another « old-school » album. This album doesn't aim at being original, yet it is unique. Like all Black Legions releases were. The older demons still haunt your nightmares. And VERMETH may turn them into grim reality." - Drakkar Productions

""Ingentes Atque Decorii Vexilliferi Apokalypsis" features the first new recordings by Fleurety since 1998. This band from Ytre Enebakk, Norway, has been hailed as one of the originators of the style that has lately come to be known as avant-garde metal, a status earned through their albums "Min Tid Skal Komme" (1995) and "Department of Apocalyptic Affairs" (2000) - plus the EP "Last-Minute Lies" (1997). The songs featured on "Ingentes Atque Decorii Vexilliferi Apokalypsis" are re-recordings of material from the early nineties. The song "Descent into Darkness" was first featured on Fleurety's first and only demo, "Black Snow" (1993). As this song did not fit in with the rest of the material on the debut album, it was never properly recorded - until now. This new recording features guest drummer Hellhammer and guest bassist Necrobutcher, both well known from the legendary black metal band Mayhem. Vocals are performed by Runhild Gammelsćter, also known from bands such as Thorr's Hammer, Khlyst and Sunn0))). The second song, Absence, is a remake of a track Fleurety recorded exclusively for the compilation album "Blackend Vol. 1" (1995). This recording also features the bass work of Plenum (Virus, Audiopain) and the drum work of Bjeima (Delirium Bound, Swarms). Both songs show the more traditional metal side of Fleurety, with an old school grimness not heard from the band since the "A Darker Shade of Evil" 7" EP (1994). But beware! There are also indulgent leaps into disco noise territory. The cover artwork has been made by Trine & Kim Design Studio. The record is pressed on heavy duty white vinyl and - Hey! - there is a sticker somewhere inside the sleeve as well. This release is the first in a series of new Fleurety recordings only available on vinyl. The next release "Summon the Beasts" - the first with brand new Fleurety material since 2000 - can be expected in early 2010." - Fleurety

Joyless is the misanthropic pop band (influenced by The Velvet Underground, The Stooges, The Doors, etc.) that gave room for experimentation
to the members of Forgotten Woods.
After 4 years the Joyless ones will return with a new album, better than ever, this time adding instruments like banjo and harmonica.
"Shadow Spree" is rambunctious and cheerful without loosing the bleak, melancholy drained atmosphere we're used to.
This split, among other ones, serves as a teaser of what is to come.
"Dekadent Aesthetix is a metal band from Romania formed by Emi-on all instruments and Cosmin Viciu-vocals in the winter of 2008.
Having deep roots in Black Metal, the band constantly incorporates diverse and contradictory musical elements
to achieve eccentric sounds that are not supposed to have a special appeal to any music scene.
The music production is totaly minimalist, absolutely independent, and extremely low budget.
There is no support from others involved in the production. All the music, concept, sound, production is done exclusively by the band."
This is the first release of Dekadent Aesthetix, only having recorded a demo album in 2008.
"Track 0" is mostly acoustic guitar-driven while "Shiny Morning" is more metal based. These songs should also give a hint of
what the mentioned unreleased/upcoming album will sound like.
Printed on full colour reverseboard cover with matte finish; including a full colour double-sided insert page and a Joyless sticker made of PVC.

"...This EP's atmosphere and sound is that of NOTHINGNESS. It lacks vital lifeforce just as human bodies do when they die. This is intentional. MYRKR is meant for solitude and reflection."

"Two acts with one exclusive song each gathered under this 7" EP, to declare manifests of their deepest meaning."
Raw Black Metal. Kadotus is in the vein of Darkthrone but still sounds different. Higher price due to limited pressing of 333 according to the label.
